Jen’s Shower

My little sister is having her 1st baby. I am pretty excited about it if you haven’t noticed yet from my comments on this blog. So to celebrate and help welcome this little bundle of joy into the world we threw a shower for her.

Pictures of the food tables and decorations

In the entry way I had a small table with a game and then wishes for the baby. As well as some adorable pictures of Jen and Beau when they were babies.

I forgot to get a picture of the table but one of Jen’s friends helped me out with a huge project. She had a table where each guest had a chance to make headbands and/or bows for the baby. Here is the one I made.

Here is Jen with all her loot! This picture doesn’t even do it justice. I was so happy with the about of love and support she got.

Me and my cute mommy-to-be sister!

I just want to say a big thank you to all those who helped me put this shower on and for those who came to support Jen.

Photos from Ethan

These are too cute to delete and not share. While I was getting ready one day Ethan took my camera and started taking pictures. These are what I found when I got my camera back.

Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum

Conference weekend we spent some time with Jared’s family in St. George. While we were there we visited the Rosenbruch Wildlife Museum. I had never been there before and although it was small it was pretty neat. It reminded me of the Bean museum but I thought it was better. My favorite part was that the kids got binoculars to use and see all the fun animals that were far away.

This is my nephew Nate. He’s a cutie and got to come along for a the fun day too.

This scene was upsetting to Ethan. He did not want the lion to kill the zebra. He can be so tender hearted sometimes. Especially when it comes to animals. But we talked about how nature works and how the lion has to eat and what he eats is zebras. He was not happy about that but seemed to understand what we were talking about. At least as much as a four year old can.

It was fun place to go and spend some time out of the house. I’m sure we’ll come back here again.

Brandon and Sara’s Wedding

Just a few photos from my little brothers wedding. My cute kids were apart of the ceremony.

There was a pond that was full of fish just outside the building. This was one of the highlights for the kids.

Happy little family

The full Withers clan. Minus the little peanut in my sisters belly. She is just weeks away from delivering!!!

Me, my sis and my mom. I LOVE these ladies!!!

It was a beautiful wedding with a handsome groom and beautiful bride. We sure enjoyed being apart of their special day.

Hogle Zoo

We try to take the kids to the zoo at least once a year. They are both at an age where they love animals so it’s always fun to go. This year we went over labor day which meant that it was hot and busy. But still fun.

The one thing that Ethan really wanted to see were the tiger. It was packed with people and almost impossible to see. Jared put Ethan on his sholders so that he could see the tiger that was walking back and forth on the bridge that was above the walk way.

We always love the bird show and which I told you all about last year so I won’t bore you again this year but I do have a video for if you’d like.
