When I was a kid we’d go to the carnival almost every year and watch the parade during AF Steel Days. So I wanted to do that with my kids this year during Orem’s Summerfest. I was really excited about it and Friday night we headed to the carnival. For the most part it was great. Ethan had tons of fun but Madelyn was getting sick and only enjoyed a few rides.
Saturday we had plans to go back to the carnival and then watch the parade and fireworks. Only the wind was blowing like crazy and Madelyn had an ear infection. So we didn’t go. Hopefully we’ll make it another parade and watch some fireworks some where else. It’s fun to do things like this and spend have some good family time.
