Tuesday morning we headed to some hot springs at a place called Burgdorf. It was way up in the canyon and in the middle of nowhere but a fun place to hang out for the morning and afternoon. I have never been to a hot springs and we really surprised at just how hot the water was.
The fun part of this place was the neat surroundings and fun places to take some photos. We had all the kids get together in front of this truck. It’s not very often that we get all of the grand kids together at one time.
After lunch we headed back to the hotel for some down time and to get cleaned up for the family meet and greet. This was a dinner that Jared’s parents were doing where our family had a chance to meet Shannon’s family (our soon to be sister-in-law).
Madelyn LOVED her ice cream!
Looks like Fisher and Ethan did too.
And who doesn’t love a game of horse shoes?
Lots of happy faces!
After the meet and greet all of the girls went to Jimmy & Shannon’s to help make the center pieces for the wedding luncheon. Amy (my sister-in-law) brought a whole bunch of different flowers and we each got to create a bouquet of flowers. It was so fun and a great way for everyone to add their own touch of love to the wedding.
Here is what I came up with…
{Day 3 is way out of order so if you’d like to jump to that post you can view it here: http://vidoni.blogspot.com/2012/09/mccall-day-3.html or follow the post in order using the archives on the far right hand side of the blog}
