Easter

Ethan woke up bright and early on Easter morning and it didn't take him long to find his basket. He was very excited about it, especially the bouncy balls and the m&m's.

After church we headed to my Grandma Burch's for our family feast and Easter egg hunt. At first Ethan was a little unsure what was going on and why he had to put the eggs in his basket but it didn't take him long to understand that the name of the game was to get as many eggs as you can.

Yeah look at all of the eggs we got!

Look what's inside!

I really wanted to get a good picture of Ethan and my Grandma but I couldn't get Ethan to give me a good smile and when I got home I realized that my camera lens had a finger print on it! So this picture isn't what I wanted it to be but oh well.

Coloring eggs

Ethan really loved coloring his Easter eggs this year. As you can tell in the video he was really good at dipping his egg in and out of the color. We had a few spills and a few broken eggs but it was fun!

Trip to St. George

These are just a few pictures from our trip to St. George for our nephew's blessing.
Look at how handsome my two boys are!

All of the Vidoni grandchildren

This is Ethan and his cousin Fisher going for a ride in the wagon. They LOVED it and it was great entertainment for the girl cousins too. They took turns pulling the two boys around.

Big Shoes

On day while Jenny was at my house she taught Ethan this great new game...
Now when ever he finds my shoes or Jared's shoes he insists on wearing them around the house.

A few freebies

So as you all know I love to digi scrapbook. Well ScrapMatters is having a designer contest and I decided to give it a try. The first week we had to make a mini kit using colors chosen by ScrapMatters. There were well over 100 people who entered in this contest and only 24 were chosen to go onto the second round and guess who one of those 24 were? ME!!! I was so excited and so surprised because there were so many amazing mini kits. In round two we had to make a paper pack. We got to choose the theme and the colors. Luckily this week no one is getting cut we just get to have a little fun and learn some new tricks. Here are is my mini kit and paper pack free for you to enjoy. All of the mini kits and paper pack are free over at ScrapMatters but you have to join first, once you've joined you can see the amazing kits and download as many as you want. I hope you enjoy my little creations!

Give a little-Get a little!

Making handcrafted items is a dying art, but they are so fun to make & get! So, here's a little game to encourage the handcrafting to live & thrive!! The first 5 people to leave a comment on this post will receive, at some point during the year, a super-duper handmade gift from me.

What it will be and when it will arrive is a total surprise!

The catch is that you must participate as well-before you leave your comment here, write up a pay it forward post on your blog to keep the fun going. Then come back, let me know you're going to play, and sit back and anticipate the arrival of your gift! Remember that only the first 5 comments will receive a gift from me, so be quick! This offer does have some restrictions and limitations:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2. It'll be done this year (hopefully sooner than later.)
3. You will have no clue what it is going to be.

C'mon, you know you wanna play!

A friendly visit

Last week was a good week. My good friends Leslie and Mandy came back home to Utah for a visit. I was able to spend a little time with both of them. I love them so much and I miss them dearly!

This is us at Mandy's baby shower. I am so excited for her and her husband. This will be their first baby and I hope that many more are to come :)

Look what I found

On Tuesday when I got out of the shower this is what I found...

Not only did he climb up on the chair all by himself but he also managed to open itunes and play himself a song. Now he's climbing on everything! I understand why Heidi has her chairs tied to the table.

Valentines Day weekend

This year for V-day we celebrated it early. We went to dinner and a movie. Not very exciting but to us it was. We haven't done that since our anniversary. We had dinner at Magleby's Grill and saw Coraline in 3D. Dinner was good the movie was a little weird. We'd never seen a 3D movie before so that part was exciting and cool but the the movie was slow and really weird. I don't know how else to explain it.

Here's us in our cool 3D glasses :)

The next morning we went to the temple for a very special day. My little sister and her hubby were sealed! We were so excited for them! It was a beautiful ceremony and to make things even better Jenny was also sealed to my parents. What a great day!

After Jen & Beau's luncheon we went home packed and headed to sunny St. George. Jared's mom was missing Ethan and Jared had Monday off so we went down for a visit. It was so nice and warm. I didn't want to come back to the snow.

Six-Burgh!

It was a very exciting and intense game on Sunday but the Steelers did it. They won their 6th super bowl and we couldn't be more excited. Jared's brother had a party at his house with lots of yummy food and lots of very excited fans. Here are some pics and videos for your enjoyment.

Here you can seen everyone wearing their 3-D glasses as we watch the commercials

Cheering on the Steelers and waving their towels.

This is me trying to entertain Ethan so that he doesn't get in the way of the 3 TVs.

Here's the crew cheering the players on. There's a TV on the wall next to the blow-up Steelers helmet. Any time something exciting happened everyone jumped up and got really close to the TV.

Almost made it

This is the video that you really want to watch. I was able to catch their reaction to the winning touch down. You can see Amy standing on the couch in the back trying to see the TV and then when the boys start cheer she runs for her life. At one of the games the boys got so excited that they fell onto the couch and almost broke it.

Yes we did it! We won!!!

I was only able to get the very end of them cheering cuz my camera was too slow.

Goin' to the Super Bowl

We're not really going to the super bowl but the Steelers are!!! And if you know my husband then you know that he is a HUGE fan of the Steelers. Jared's brother Ray is having a HUGE, FUN party that will be full of food and very anxious Steelers fans. I'll make sure to take lots of pics and some fun video. Last time they went to the super bowl it was a CRAZY party full of wild, excited men and some that were a little on the drunk side. But hey they won and we had fun. GO STEELERS!!!

Meow

He LOVES cats & dogs. Martha (the lady I clean for) has a cat that comes and goes and Ethan loves it. As soon as he sees the cat he looks at me says "Mauw" and then tries to pet the cat only his pets are more like a nice slap. Poor cat. Here are a few video clips of him and the cat. Once we get inside the cat knows to come to the back door where Ethan will stand and "Mauw" at the cat.

What a mess!

Here's what happens when I don't watch Ethan's every move. He finds things he should be into...makes a HUGE mess...and thinks it's great fun. He loved running across the spilled carmel popcorn and laughed every time he went back and forth.

A couple of LOs

I LOVE to scrapbook and I really LOVE to digital scrapbooking. So I thought I'd start sharing more of the layouts that I've been creating. Here are a few of my favorite from the Christmas season. The first one is of Ethan eating a banana. He loves bananas and he insist on eating them all by himself.
The second one is of him eating cookies. He has quickly become my little cookie monster but you'd never know that cuz he's so skinny.

And last but not least is one of my all time favorites. I LOVE this picture of Jared and Ethan.

Christmas Morning

This year we had a wonderful Christmas. It was so much fun to have Ethan old enough to open his own presents (with the help of mom & dad) and get so excited for his gifts. The day started out a little rough though. Ethan woke up at 2:30 am and wanted to play. Jared stayed up with Ethan for a few hours and then finally was able to get him back to sleep. Then around 9am we got up and dressed and sat around the Christmas tree to open our presents. I wasn't able to get any pictures of him opening his presents but here are a few of him enjoying them.

If you can't tell from this picture Jared is holding up a million dollar check. Every time we check the mail we always ask each other if there was a million dollar check and of course there's not so I thought it would be funny to make him this check and put it in his stocking. Too bad we can't cash it :)

Snow, Snow, Snow

We have had so much snow this year it's crazy! I've lived in UT my whole life and I can't remember that last time we had this much snow. Here are a few pictures I took to remember this white winter.
This is Jared's brother Jimmy posing for me in the snow. This was taken just before Christmas and we had almost a foot of snow!

Here's Jared happily shoveling the snow. I think this was his 4th of 5th time shoveling that day.And here is Ethan enjoying the snow for the first time. We don't have any boots or snow pants for him so he just gets to enjoy the snow from the side walk. He loves it though! Every time we go out to the car he walks over to the lawn and gets a fist full of snow. Next year I'll be ready for the snow and Ethan will have a snow suit.

Dancing Ethan

We have this drawer that is just full of junk and Ethan loves to dig in it and pull everything out. One day Ethan found my ipod shuffle and the headphones that go with it. He brought it to me and new that you put the headphones in your ears. So I turned on the music and here's what happened...

Up & Down

My Grandma has a ramp over the stairs that go from her kitchen to the family room. Ethan loves this ramp because he knows how to go up it and down it all by himself. Here's a little video clip to show you what he did for at least a half hour on Christmas day.
